It was india's fortune that rain saved the game and reduced the pain of loosing the match to drawing this. But is it ok to opt weather as team member to play for you?

This is not the first time that India escaped blushes because of the rain. It so happened once with westindies in 1946, where India had to chase a considerably big target and had just a wicket and you know what happened. Match was abondedned due to rain. There were occassions wheni india lost eight wikets and had to get 10 or 15 more runs to win and rain interrupted. These are pretty difficult situations, where you can predict the result.

Its all part of the game. A game is not won purely due to skill and talent. There is a mix of luck factor in it. What would have happened if the umpire declared Sree Santh lbw in the last over bowled by Panesar? Difficult to answer. What would have happened if only Dravid is not given out lbw? Certainly, luck plays a part. Most of the time, India lies on the wrong side of the weather factor. Fortunately, they are on the right side this time. I hope the Indians will concentrate on the game in the next match. Luck will not always be with you. Need to perform. Thanks.

Hi. Very true, another fortunate day at the office for the Indian team. Though the test has drawn but or me the Indian team lost it badly to the English. I mean from the position they were in at the start of the fifth day, and to reach an end as close as it was, it is only what Indian team can. They know how to draw defeat from the jaws of the victory. But still it will be draw in the records. I think they have to have a more positive intent.

Yes...it was lucky not to have gone down 1-0 in the first test. Perhaps if not for the rain, defeat was almost certain. Thank God the rains came at the right time to play for India. It was an early stike by the English bowlers which led to this situation.. The way Ganguly and Karthik were playing on the fourth day gave confidence. But all was gone after Ganguly's wicket. You could never believe Dhoni any tough time. He has never played a solid innings in a crucial time. But surprisingly he batted his heart out yesterday...perhaps he played his career's best innings...Better win the next match to stop more criticism.....

Rain did reduce their shame also man but did u see Indian players cheer and celebrate when it started to rain man come on is that fair our players couldn't even draw the match even before the tea break all are brave Indian players were looking upto the sky and praying for bad light or rain shame on our players . This may certainly has saved their loss but has proven their confidence winning spirit what has happen to Indian cricket . And we still claim to have the best batsmen in this world .... hmm
