Is this true? Have they really found a replacement for Bob Barker?

Early this morning I heard a rumor that Drew Carry would be replacing Bob Barker as host of Price is Right, the longest running game show on television. Does anyone know if this is true? Well, I suppose he's not the worst choice they could make. He's funny, after all. And, not as controversial as Rosie O'Donnell. So, I guess that's a good thing. If anyone has anymore information on this rumor, please let me know.

According to news reports, the deal was set on Monday and confirmed on the David Letterman show. I'm not sure how Drew will go over. Bob Barker will be a hard man to replace. Of course, I never thought Jay Leno would be able to replace Johnny Carson either. But now I like Leno. So who knows?

Yeah, I remember Johnny Carson from when I was a little kid. And, when they replaced him, I figured noone would ever like Jay, but the guy kind of has his own comedy style that grows on you. Some of that Jay comedy stuff Johnny never would have done. But, it's still funny. Johnny Carson got out at a good time. So, did Bob. Definitely, Bob Barker will be missed. It will be nice to see a familiar face on a favorite show! Thanks for dropping by.

Yes, its true. i really like Drew Carey and have always found his shows funny. hopefully he will be able to "handle" The Price is Right. of course no one can ever be the new Bob Barker..but he had to retire sometime afterall. Carey confirmed this on the David Lettermen Show. here is also a link to an article regarding it... http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/people/324758_people24.html

I haven't heard but if he is I am glad. i would much rather have him as the game show host then Rosie O'Donnell. I would be to scared that show wouldn't last if she was the show host of it.

It's a fact. Apparently he announced in on David Letterman last night. He's nice guy, with a sad past, so I'm glad to see him catch a break.
