I found this receipe awhile back, and I really enjoy it. it is a sweet-tart beverage.
6 cups cold water divided
1/2 cup sugar(adjust sugar to your taste)
3 tablespoon chopped peeled fresh ginger
3 tablespoon grated lime rind
10 mint leaves
1 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 6 limes)
4 lime wedges(optional)
Combine 1/4 cup water, sugar, ginger, rind and mint leaves in a blender and process until well blended. Cover, chill for 2 hours.
Add remaining 5 3/4 cups water and juice, stir to combine. Garnish with lime wedges, if desired. Yield 4 servings. (serving size 2 cups).

Thank you very much for sharing this with us. I am always looking for ways to add ginger to my diet because it is so good for the body. This actually sounds yummy, I can't wait to try it.

Thanks for this great looking recipe. I just cut and pasted it out and am looking forward to trying it. I am just getting over a rather severe upper respiratory infection and think the combinations in your recipe will give the body a much needed boost.
Also we like to have pot luck gatherings and I am sure it will be a hit with all the guests. We have been having sweltering heat and humidity in Southwestern Manitoba this summer and I look forward to sitting out on the deck with a tall glass of Ginger Limeabe over ice. Glad you chose to share!
