It was too good to be true~ or was it?

I just got home from my too good to be true vacation and it was awesome! My husband and I took 3 of our children to Ft Lauderdale for 4 nights/5 days at a nice hotel~ it wasn't 5 star, but it was clean and had a huge game room for the kids, a heated pool, and a tiki bar with delicious frozen drinks. We had two hotel rooms that were connected so there was plenty of room for us. All food was included in the package. They had buffet breakfast and dinner. We ordered off the menu for lunch~ the food was great and best of all free, except for the tip. We went from Ft. Lauderdale and got on a cruise ship to the Bahamas. We had 2 cabins. The food was excellent on the cruise ship, the service was 5 star! We were pamphered. The pool was very little, but we spent more time listening to the band by the pool, playing bingo, and watching the nightly shows. When we woke up the next morning we were in the Bahamas. It was beautiful. We got off the ship and were right in a shopping area. We shopped for a while then went back to the ship for our lunch. We then took a taxi to Paradise Island and spent the day at the beach. The kids rented Jet Skis while we swam in the clear blue ocean. We got back on the boat at 5pm. That evening was full of entertainment and the next morning we arrived back in Ft. Lauderdale. I asked my kids to rate the vacation on a scale of 1-10 and the 13 yr old and 7 yr old said 10. The 15 yr old said 9. If you have never been on a cruise before and want to try one, this is the way to go. This vacation cost us just over $1000 for all 5~ hotels, food, cruise and we purchased 2 packages because we had 5 people. To go on this vacation with only 4 or less, it would be about 1/2 this. If you are use to 5 star resorts, this isn't for you. If you are the average Joe looking for a cheap, nice getaway, this is for you.
