Why no one is loving plants as they love animals and pets?

I love gardening. But it is hard to get an emotional response from a plant, so my cats get more love because (to my perception) they give more love.

For me i love plants too and never compare pets with plants. They are different i have 3 cats and all have their own character and they know you they love you they make you understand if they are happy or sad or sick. But i dont get these feelings from plants. But i still love them. I always plant seeds and like to watch them getting bigger and bigger everyday, it is great to watch them blooming and the best time is getting a flower which you planted its seed 2 months ago.
