i think the music and soundeffects have a great effect on evevnts of movie cuz it make the viewer come into the story and adapt wiz it it is really was amazing
also the actor infirst role was really great he deserve lelgilly the prize of best actor

yes, the music in the back ground does set the mood for the movie. it did in the movie 300. 300 is an absolutely terrific movie. the attitude, the valour the spartans display send a chill down my spine. so much to keep their honour. they challenged and even demured a person who projected himself as god. i think they were bogged down by the wrong priests who just had no respect for these warriors. my personal favorite line in the movie when the king says : SPARTANS NEVER RETREAT!!!!!!!!!!. the greatest sequence when the king as a young lad fights the beast and also , when he kicks the intruder into the well..

The effect of sounds in movies are the same as the effect of the actors' protrayal.. The scenes liviliness is based on the accompaniment of sound effect.. Just like in a suspense movie, how could you scared the audience or even get their attention if you wouldn't place any loud and heart-pounding sounds on every scenes that the antagonists kills or make any rampage.. It would definetly be boring if movies doesn't have sound effects..
