I am back, but lost a few days, and also lost a considerable amount of earnings!

I know that I must have committed and offense, but it seems I have been over punished for my warnings! haha. I am not really complaining, but am pointing out that I did not know it was wrong to cut n paste my answers (when they are going to be similar anyways)...
How many times have we seen discussion when replies or even discussion starters have boosted there word count by cutting and pasting from wikipedia? Far too many I say!!
Atleast mine were only my own words! But if it's against the rules, then that's fair enough, but maybe we should be reporting these people who steal words too! haha.
I also noticed that my account was virtually cleared of all replies and discussions started by me (and therefore earnings well and truly lost! arggghhh!!!) not only the repeated replies...
But I am overall glad to be back!
Anyone else encountered similar problems?

Welcome back and happy mylotting here! So many members complained about the same problem. I don't even know that you can't simply cut and paste here. Lucky I read your discussion. I realize that my earnings decreased day by day but I don't want to complain about anything. If it is getting worse, maybe I should check with My Lot. For example, if yesterday I have like $5.41, today my total is $5.56 after additional 18 cents. (It supposed to be $5.59 and so I lost few cents here)
I am lucky that I still have many good friends here. So, I will keep mylotting as far as I could *smile*

Hi gr8life! I feel the same way. Without friends on My lot, it gets to be a really lonely place. I am sorry to hear that you lost some earnings yesterday. I will try to drop by your discussions more often. Perhaps I can help you earn more by posting something at each discussion. Hope that will help.

Yes it does happens frequently if mylot finds any misuse or an artificial creativity, they discourage it and removes them from posting. But to let you know, creativity is creativity,it can't be copied or can't be tampered.

No, I haven't had that problem. I simply read the guidelines and followed them. It's really quite easy. You should try that now that you're back. You must not have had things completely cleared since your post count is still at 588. "Word stealers" do ge reported when appropriate. There is nothing wrong with using copy/paste if it adds information and is used correctly so just because a person utilizes that feature does not mean that they should be reported.
I hope you take the time to read the guidelines this time so you know what is allowed. I would copy/paste them here for you but you might say I was just trying to boost my word count :)
