Does yahoo blocks internet marketing mails ?

I have been suggested by my upline in one of internet marketing site to open a mail account with a www.inbox.com . He suggested me because one very important mail from his side is reaching my yahoo mail inbox . But i have found other internet marketing mails from other sources are regularly reaching my yahoo inbox .
What does your experiences tell you ? Does yahoo block internet marketing mails?

Not sure how much this will help but here it is. I used to work for Rogers in Canada which is partnered with Yahoo. I knew they didn't when I was there but I gave an old buddy a call to be sure. He says that Yahoo does not screen any sort of mail. he was sure that AOL does and a few other small timers, but definitely not Yahoo. I use gmail myself and they don't screen anything either. I asked him about inbox.com and neither of us can tell you anything about it.
