need new series to read

ok i love harry potter but now since she is not coming out with more i need a new series to really get into. lol. can any one suggest a good series like harry potter. my oldest daughter that is 12 likes them too so i am trying to find us something. any ideas please.

i suggest try belgariad series written by david eddings. another good series would be darren shan. give it a try
