Would you avail yourself as a Ginea pig in trials of new treatment ?

Recently in my country, some 35 women volunteers where infected with the HIV when they offered themselves to a pilot trial of some HIV treatment-they were made to believe it was safe to be used as a control for the experiment in which actual viruses were deposited into their bodies! This raises the question would you avail your self as guinea pig?

I personally wouldn't do it. I would be too afraid of the possible long term side effects that they may not know about. It's just a risk I'm not willing to take no matter how much someone is willing to pay me.

I agree,my compatriots have paid derly for the ignorance of what you call, long term side effects!
