Some folks have stories of humorous things that took place during or at a funeral. Have you heard any of these stories?

The family will sometimes tell of good times they had with their loved one or give the story to the officient to read. Sometimes it helps to have a little humor to break the sadness for a moment or two.

yeah. one time we were embalmin a guy who looked just like abraham lincoln so we made him say the "four scor and seven years ago" speech. it was hilarious. We knew the guy he knew he was going to die for a while so we were just making the situation more light. not being disrespectful

Yeah like they sometimes have a 'designated mourner'? This is a person usually a woman who is supposed to be wailing and crying and making an emotional a$$ of her self. I don't knoe the reason for this but it is pretty funny if you happen to be there.
