While travelling, do you make friendship with your co-passenger?

It is my habit to make friendship with co-passengers and indulge in general topics without going personal or hurting others so that journey will not be boring. What about you? Do you talk to your co-passengers or sit quiet without talking to any one?

I usually don't just a conversation with total strangers just like that because I am not the kind of person who starts conversations with strangers easily. I usually just sit quietly and hope they also sit quietly as well and don't start any conversations. I think it safer for me that way because I don't have to say anything that may be not be right.

Now-a-days even the time is changing. Earlier days people used to talk more with all. But now people try to keep to themselves. Since the free time is less now-a-days, they even want to utilise the time for reading or to be silent.

That is one of the reasons why I remain silent. But then the other is the suspicious nature many people now have. There are a lot of bad people around and you may not know when you are sitting next to a criminal or other bad people.

I am happy to say that I am the same type of person like you. I also like to be friends with my co-passengers and have a nice talk with them for some casual chatting to make the journey easier and more relaxing all the way to the destination.

You are true. The time passes very easily. Otherwise even after an hour, when you look at your watch, only five minutes would have gone. So boring.

I talk to my co-passengers. whether I would be travelling in a bus, or in a boat, or in a plane. travelling is fun for me. and It is also another means for me to get to know another individual. I would feel the situation too. if my co-passenger is interested with me or not, I could feel it. If the person I have talked with is not interested, then I would not continue asking more questions about him or her. However, if the person I have talked with is interested, then I would proceed. However, there are days wherein I like just to keep to myself. I just watch the scenery or just sleep the trip.

Very true. we will know whether the other person is interested in the conversation or not. At times, we prefer to be to ourselves. Thanks.
