Terry Pratchett - you like his books?

I love Terry Pratchett's books :) theyare soooo funny - I have read many books from Disc World cycle - i really liked :
Reaper Man
Wyrd Sisters
Soul Music
also i really like The Wee Free Men and Good Omens (with Gaiman)
And you do you like his books, and sense of humour : ??

Terry Pratchett is a superb author! I'm a big fan of his novels - his sense of humour is brilliant (and so typically English!), the characters and plotlines are wonderful, and they're always a jolly good read :-) Have you read "Mort" yet? That one was the first Discworld book I read, and got me hooked! I can also recommend "The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents" - not a Discworld novel, but brilliant all the same! All the best, and happy reading! By the way, did you know that there are several serialised radio adaptations of his Discworld and other novels, which were done by the BBC? I believe they're probably available on CD from the BBC's shop (they'd sell their own grandmothers if they could!) if you're interested in hearing them acted too - audio versions of great books can be good to listen to on long car journeys!

Well haven't read Mort yet ...but i will soon :) just have to find it in library :). Well the radio adaptations are probably in english ... heh reading Pratchett in english would be for me probably very hard (i am Polish)but i think i should try soon :)

Well, perhaps listening to a radio version of one of his books you already know well, might make it easier, and help your English listening skills at the same time!! It's great to hear that the humour in the Discworld books works well in Polish as well as English, and I hope you continue to enjoy Terry Pratchett's books for many years to come :-)

I love Terry Pratchett's too. He is one of the best writer. For me the best his book is "Guards!Guards!" It is one bad news... Pratchett's have alzheimer ;/. I wish him lot of luck in his fight against disease.
