I'm a student nurse of Baguio City. i took this course to have a life stable on a solid ground in the near future. i owe much from my mom so i want her to become proud of me someday. having this course cost much and even alters my regular diet and sleeping pattern. but it brings a lot of oppurtunity to do beneficience with my clients by providing them the best care i can offer. i love my mentors for providing me the right knowledge, skills, and attitude with all their best of intentions. some say that filipino nurses are just equivalent to industrial waste of japan being dump here in my country corresponding to an agreement by accepting filipino nurses in there land. indian and chinese nurses are my competetors in the worldwide market. i never knew the future may bring for my career but what do you think is the real essence of being a nurse?

May the good Lord bless and keep you for having chosen the noble profession of nursing. I apologize for any prejudice you face. If you have the clinical skills and love for other human beings you have what it takes to be the most undervalued, underpaid server of mankind alive. You truly are an angel of mercy. Never forget to be merciful, yet firm with your assistants, knowing that they work hard for little pay and for love of others also. As for the physicians, remember that you are the advocate for your patient, and the last line of defense, and argue strenuously for whatever is needed--be it a mag level or the correct level of pain relief. Again God bless you and welcome to the USA we need nurses badly and surely your English cannot be as bad as our cardiologists (bless their foreign hearts).

Nursing is a profession that is to give service to people. The essence of being a nurse stil depends upon the person. A true nurse is someone who give care and assist those individuals who are in need without hesitation. And also, nurses are to give hope to the hopeless as to save life of clients and make them feel they are important.
