the world??? ... The sad truth is, all Homeland Security's High Alerts are only our governments attempt to give the naive a false sense of security. Are reality is we are as vulnerable today as we always have been. Israel with one of the best militaries of this day and age appears to be fighting a never ending battle, however I do agree with most on certain aspects of our media's exposure to critical topics. It's a case of we are dammed if we do and dammed if we don't. The public criticizes our government when the are not made aware of what moves they are or are not making. Hmmmmmmm, what to do??? .......... My point being the US has been kicking a$$ for sooooooooooo long it's only a matter of time before the tables turn.

I do think that the freedom of the press does present a danger to us. Sharing too much information through television, radio and newspaper can make things even more dangerous since criminals and terrorists are always keeping up with the news and using that information to their advantage. The more information that is given out the more ideas they come up with to hit us.

I agree 100% , if knowing more would make things more dangerous for me, then I would preffer to be left in the dark. We have to put a certian amount of trust in our Goverment anyway. I'm not big on doing this, but it's what we need to do to live our lives without going crazy with worry.
