Saying good-by to and old friend

Yesterday we said good-by to my mom's dog Lady. She was 14 years old and had lived a long happy life. She was one of the best dogs we had ever had. Lady was the sweetest dog. Always so gentle and loving.
I bought Lady for my mom's birthday when she was a puppy. She was a blue eyed Australian Shepherd. From day one she was always a Lady. She will be missed greatly by everyone who knew her.

I am glad you and your mom and the rest of your family had great times with Lady. Our beloved pets are part of our families and contribute so much to our lives. When they are gone it leaves such a huge void, doesn't it??? I am truly sorry for your loss of Lady....

i am so sorry to hear that.i konw the feeling of lose a hold puppy,like losing a old good friend.if u can't draft from the sadness,i suggust you to have a new puppy,just like make a new friend.

That is sad news, I am sorry for the loss of your moms Lady. She was a beautiful dog, and I know how close we can get to our pets, especially after such a long time. I will keep you guys in my thoughts!
