im a kind of person who's sort of a worry-wart so i like preparing for things early than to prepare in the last minute and cram. i tend to forget a lot of things when cramming unlike when i prepare early. however, there are odd times when i prepare early and still forget something and times when i cram and get all the things done, nothing is forgotten. ^__^;; when i was a student i like studying early too but i still cram on the last minute even if i know i have studied well. ^__^;; i think im still like that now. prepared early but still cram on the last minute. LOL how about you?

most of the students crams! i think it's their nature to cram when it comes to their assignments and projects.. which is my opposite when i was still studying. i always prepare things earlier to avoid cramming so that i can do other things aside from the things that i have to in school... making your things earlier on the deadline will give you more time for yourself to relax...

I always like to get things done early rather to confuse and forget things done in the last minute.Like you say somethings even if done with lot of early preparation get messed...hope we cant help it..and similarly some things when done in the last minute gets done in a neat way..quiet unexpected when we realise after its done.. Even in my student life being good a studies i always had the habit to turn around the pages till last minute and verify somethings before entering the exam hall.I hope most students are like this way. Anyway finally i want to conclude is i like to complete task by preparing early.Good discussion !have a good day..

yeah. when I was a student, even if I have prepared early for an exam, I still think its not enough. I still hurry through my notes on the last minute making sure I didn't miss anything or I got everything right in my head. ^__^ I always wanted to make sure and unless the exam hasn't finished yet, I won't be at peace. ^__^;; have a good day too.

most of the times i like to prepare for things early, unless i'm really really time. i'm always in a rush so it's better if i prepare things earlier. i don't like to do things last minute because i might miss out on something.

I do a little of both. More so... the last minute thing. I never really studied to be honest. It was pointless for me. I'd study and forget about 2 minutes later so I always figured it was pretty pointless to study. But I figure if it helps you..it's best. If I did study I'd think it'd be best to do it last minute becuase then maybe it would stay in my head.

LOL yeah i guess it was best for you to study on the last minute. so you wont forget it until you're taking the exam or something. but i guess you have to finish the exam or whatever it is within 2 minutes or it will pop out of your head! LOL

usually i am a crammer or crammist or whatever it is you call it. hehe. and it works for me just fine. i think i can concentrate more under pressure. sometimes when i study early i tend to forget the things that i've studied. in the end, i cram and understand everything. hehe. but when i reviewed in my board exam i did study early because there are a lot of things to study and it's not possible to study everything the night before the exam. fortunately i passed. =)

I prepare things according to the nature of it. For example, if I am going back to my hometown, or going for a holiday trip somewhere, I will prepare the night before with my packing. During the week I will make sure all the clothes I want to bring are washed so that they are ready on the day of packing. If guests are coming to my house, I will just prepare the food in the morning so that I can complete cooking before they arrive. I always feel awkward if I have to cook and entertain at the same time.

i know what you mean. its better to prepare the food first than prepare it when the visitors are already there. that is why i prefer if people who want to visits me, inform me first. ^__^

Hello secretbear!(",) I used to cram alot when I was still a student and even until now. I like the adrenaline rush and I feel victorious if I were able to beat the deadline. Success!(",) There are things that need to be done early so I also prepare early like for example, if I have to go on duty in the hospital, I have to preapre everything the night before. Great day and God bless!(",)

hi lani! cramming was really popular among students noh? ^__^ i guess its a kind of trend that almost everybody follows. I wasn't used to cramming when I was a student but I did cram too. together with my friends and classmates, they always infect me with their cramming habits, and even if I'm prepared and have studied early, they still effectively infect me. LOL

cramming for something to be submitted like reports is a no no for me...i'd rather not submit any than a halfheartedly done one...and that's why i ended up misssing a number of reports...hehehe but in the case of exam, i hate to cram...I usually free my mind of worrying at least an hour before the exam...during my highschool and early college days, i've one of those people who still clung to their notes even when the questionaires are already distributed to some students...but I realized that it did me no good...I decided to just keep my attention up during classes and avoid being absent, then even if I haven't reviewed my notes the night before, I was able to pass my exams...well, most of it though

avoid being absent huh?? naks naman. ever diligent! ^__^ don't you get affected by the cramming people around you just an hour before the exam? coz I do. when they're tensed I get tensed too. when they cram and grab their notes, my notes actually, I cram too. its very infectious. ^__^;;

what's STS nga? here's come memory gap again! LOL was that one of those subjective kind of subjects like humanities? that's what I don't do! be late for class! gives me butterflies in the stomach. ^__^;; as i've said, I'm a worry-wart. I could think of almost anything that might happen if I get late or getting late. like, what if they started class ahead of time? what if they changed rooms? what if there's no class? what if there's a quiz I don't know and I don't have time to review??? that kind of stomach-tightening stuff. LOL I may appear cool but my insides are actually in turmoil. ^__^;; I don't like surprise quizzes. makes my mind too surprised and blank. LOL

I usually enter the classroom a little late so I kinda avoided seeing the others cram...You know it's handy to be prepared for an exam almost every day...I once (a number of times actually) entered my class without knowing that there is an exam due that day...I just thought that they were having a silent time in class (that was STS) then I saw my seatmate answering an exam. Luckily though, it was just easy...and I ended up almost at the top of the scores...hehehe

I plan but I still cram. When I was in highschool I don't usually do my homework. I do it in the school or copy form my classmate. Now is the only time I'm spending some time to really study. There's no such thing as too late.

I find it difficult to cram. Rather I would like to undrstand what I am studying. There are times though when you just have to cram some concepts. I usually try to study as early as possible but many times it is when the exams are almost around the corner that I tend to study harder. I leave all the studying till the last minute sometimes but I know it is very risky to do that.

its really risky to cram. and its not good for me coz I tend to worry so much if I haven't studied or even take a look at the first page of my notes. so I study early but, still cram at the last minute. LOL I can't help it when the people around are cramming. its kinda infectious. ^__^;;

I think I'm good in cramming. I guess, I've developed some technique though I could not really specifically tell how do it -- i guess, its more about adrenalin rush. however, i really prefer to be prepared long before a deadline comes. I've learned that in my work place, we are always "proactive" -- that is we are given an excellent rating in time if we are able to submit our reports two days before the deadline.

LOL. If you're going to ask my mom, secretbear, she'd tell you immediately, I'm a true crammer!I don't know but I'm usually like that. Sometimes, I prepare things ahead of time, especially when it concerns my son and his school. But for things that will require careful preparation, I never cram. I prepare things ahead, armed with my list to prepare. Because like you, I also suffer from forgetting the most obvious things. I had a habit too when I was still in high school that I would cram on the last minute of reviewing the things for the exam. Fortunately, it worked for me. But when I entered college, I sometimes crammed but most often, I prepare for exams that will make a lot of difference on my final grade.

When I was in school, there were times where I do both of those things. Most of the time I prepared early but sometimes I did have to cram. Preparing early seemed to work better for me since I would go over the information several times to make sure it stayed in my head. Cramming sometimes worked and sometimes it did not work out well.

its the "best of both worlds" I guess. ^__^ maybe there are really times when cramming is preferable even if preparing early is good. and there are times when we can't avoid to cram coz there's just so many things to do and even if you prepare early, things that should be done will continue to come like there's no end to it. ^__^;;

i used to cram when i was in college. i guess teenage life was really like that. but when i graduated from college and had to get my own job, i learned to plan, prepare and execute, which not only applies to the here and now but to my future goals as well.

right. teenage life is like that, usually taking things for granted. LOL just enjoying life, laid back, relax. coz when we come to the real world, there's a lot more pressure, more responsibilities and less time to enjoy. ^__^

I prepare early, i don't want to forget anything especially when i am going out.Like when you transport in the morning going to work and you forget your wallet, it is really hassle to go back at your home to get your wallet. When you prepare early it saves time.

I prepare early when going out. although I have never forgotten my wallet, not even once, I don't like forgetting something like a comb (especially a comb) or my cellphone. ^__^ even before taking a bath, and that's an hour before my time of departure, I prepare my things. ^__^

When I was a student, I dont know why I always cram on my studies and in some of my odd jogs. I know I have to do it, I was given the time to do my things, and yet, the bahala system I always follow. But why do I do it, cramming for my school exam, I can easily remember all the things I read when I crammed, as to doing odd things, I can finish all my work on less time by cramming. And even if I am older I used to cram on my works and my other duties, most often it helps...

oh yes, the "bahala na" sytem which gained popularity within the filipino culture. LOL I think most people are affected by that behavior, people tend to give everything to fate and let destiny works by itself. ^__^;; I think you finish your work for a lesser time because you're in a hurry and you can't afford to take a break. unlike when you have plenty of time, you tend to take a lot of breaks while doing your work and so finishing the work on a longer span of time. ^__^

I'm still a student, and I always cram. I just can't seem to force myself to study unless there's a test coming up soon. Plus, I always forget stuff if I read it too far before the exam, so I just don't see much point in starting early. I usually start studying half-heartedly a week before the exams, and only really start trying on the day before.

LOL you're just like some of my friends back in college. study halfheartedly and cram on the last minute. ^__^ they should be blamed for my cramming habits too. LOL i just love them.
