Lilypads Galore in bloom...beautiful

There is a place called Momence Wetlands east of my town that includes both sides of the state line, IL/IN, that I like to go to just to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet nature provides. This particular section has a huge section of lilypads that thrive here and double in size every year. The pic I took is about a month old now and they are still blooming to this day. This lilypad 'field' is about the size of a football field but a lil wider. This whole area was actually land long time ago but a log jam on the IL side of the Kankakee River made the river flood over it. Will be adding pics of the lilypads as ppl respond. I had to take several and still couldn't get the whole lilypad field. It's beautiful thou.
