Military arrogance.

This past Saturday, I was working and this young guy who was in his Army uniform came in to my place of work. (I work for a friend of mine in a small business she has here in my town). He walked in, went to purchase something. Threw his money at me and started talking extrememly rudely. I looked at him, and smiled and proceeded to tell him that I am not paid nearly enough to put up with rude people such as hiself. He said "Do you not see what I am wearing?" I said, yes, and most people I know in the military are much more polite. If you THINK you are better than me bc you wear a uniform you have another thing coming. Now I respect ANYONE who serves our country. My bf is a Navy veteran and I have a very high respect for him, but can someone tell me what makes certain people in the military think they are better than you and me?

sometimes these people who was given a little power sees themselves superior. Just as they want people to salute them, to fear them and gave them all the respect in all heavens. These arrogant men just borrowed guts from their uniform..nothing else.
