Love, trust and respect are the essential aspects of marriage. It's a give and take relationship and there should be an open communication. But to work it successfully will depend on both of you.

Firstly, congratulations djel!! wish you all the best, always. This is a tough one to answer. A successful marriage requires LOve, care, respect, trust and compromise- all of these actually make up a true relationship. Since, you are newly wed, i would advice you to be understanding and compromising for in many cases you will need these to survive. you have to use your brains to make it going. Marriage, i feel, is a union of two families and not just two souls. naturally you have to understand both the families and adjust accoedingly. You should to be reasonble, adjusting and convincing aswell and not to forget bit diplomatic. here, i am not scaring you. i am a well wisher - just guiding you with my experiences in life.
