My son is three and he will be starting preschool next week. Im still trying to talk myself out of letting him ride a school bus but I know it will take alot of gas to drive him. Im such a worrywort I just know ill worry myself to death right after he gets on the bus till he gets home. I think I would feel better if the school could call and tell me he made it to school. I just dont know what to do. Should I trust the bus driver with my child or not. Does anyone else worry themselves like this and what would you do let him ride the bus or take him.

i'm in the uk and school buses aren't the norm here so my first thought would be he's too young. However if you put him on the bus in the morning and theres no way he can get off till he gets to school i suppose it not to bad. also will the other kids on the bus be the same age or a mix of older if so this would again cast doubt in my mind. DO any of your neighbours have kids that go on the bus whom you could ask to keep an eye on him, if so again maybe i would consider but too be honest i'd take him myself.

thank you this helps. As for the other kids of different age I dont think there will be. I just moved into county school district thats why im so freaked about it. When he was going to get to go to city I wasn't so scared because he was going to go with just other preschool kids.
