Trash day

It is fun to read a good discussion like this still it is a very important thing to all of us. well my trash day is Monday nd I always try to g out on Monday beacuse of the same cause. They are really very much disturbing to me specially they actually do much of their work just beside fom my home as I am in a corner and they keep their cars there...Oh!

I am actually not sure on the days, but I think it's Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our trash is stored down in trash rooms in the garage so we don't hear a thing when they come to pick up our stinky trash.

Well ours is on a Monday and they are noisy to I think it is something about trash People they have to make sure that they are heard lol

We have ours picked up on friday morning. I only hear them sometimes cause usually i am still asleep. They come very early sometimes before 6am. Best wishes to you, Terry

It can get pretty noisy, especially when they put the glass in the bins. Our trash day is Monday. Our recyclable day is different than trash day..

in here, there pick up the trash every night before midnight..thats why we put all the garbage outside the house by night time and in the morning the trash is gone..

thursday is trash day for me they also pick up the recycling items that day

In our neighborhood, we put trash out in front of the yard on the street for pick up. They come twice a week on tuesdays and on thursdays. We usually can hear them a little, but our fans keep us from hearing a lot of the outside noises.

They pick up our trash on thursday mornings. And yes, they are so noisy that it sounds like a whole fleet of garbage trucks instead of just one! The kids love watching them pick up the garbage, something about big trucks I think!

I think our apartment trash is picked up twice a week. Does that sound normal? Because for instance on Monday, the bin will be empty and then it starts filling up. Then on Thursday it is empty again. I'm blessed that I am on the sub level floor, and never hear the garbage people come. Growing up, somehow I always had the bedroom closest to the street. So early on Monday mornings I would awaken to the sound of a big smelly behometh!

They come on Mondays and Thursdays. The bad thing is they don't give a trash can to put the recycles. When I lived in my previous address they would have two cans, one for the regular trash and one for the recycles.

ours is friday and yup, even up here in canada, the trash guys are nosy...forget about sleeping in on a friday, they come here around 8 (am)!

I have no idea when our trash is picked up. I know I've heard it sometimes, so it must be on a day that I worked the night before and am sleeping. If I wake up for some reason, I would hear it. Otherwise, I sleep right through. There are 3 days that I work during the day, so if they came then, I'd never know.
