People Who Live Their Life Too Fast

I used to hear the older people talk about people living their life too fast, and I didn't understand what they meant by that. As I got older I did begin to understand. I saw people doing crazy things that were bound to lead to disaster if they kept it up. Some did meet with an untimely death. Going on the premise that our days are all numbered, I can now see more clearly why this phenomenon exists. I feel that some people somehow know that their days are going to be short, so they try to cram as much living into them as they possibly can. What do you feel about this?
