O.k. So I am a Waffle House addict...I worked there for about four years before I became disabled. I loved every minute of it. It was like a family away from home. Everyone got along great and we all worked well together. I absolutely loved it. I can't go into one to eat w/o wishing I was still behind that counter. Unfortunately I can't wait tables any more because of my legs. But, if there was any way that I could, I would so go back. Anyway, anyone out there that has worked there are is currently working there, let me know what you think about it!

i worked there about 10 years ago and to be honest loved most of the people i worked with. most of the customers were great. now i have done franchise and corparate. franchise you have alot of manager issues. like they like to steal. lol. corp is better but you dont ever want to get hurt while working there. they will fight you every step of the way. i was a employee that worked 35 hour shifts when needed without stopping. i called in 2 times in 10 years. i wasnt prefect but i did everything i could. i cooked , waited tables, inventory, closeout shifts, etc. i even helped with scheduling. when i got hurt though i was treated like trash. as far as the job though i loved it. i still miss it. i miss cooking, the regulars, waiting tables there, all of that.

i currently work at waffle house and i have worked there off and on for over two years. it is defiantly a fun and laid back place to work. i don't want to be here forever as it's not a career type job, there are no benefits, and it is a really sucky job if your healthy isn't good (which mine isn't at the time.) but when i was healthy and energetic, it was the only job i actually didn't loathe going into each day.
