I spend around $450 CAD/month, and thatas eating a very modest mostly-vegetarian diet. I could very easily spend ouble that without oeverdoing it. Do you people who are spending $200/month on food eat Kraft Dinner every day?

I spend around $600 on all grocery items. About $400 goes to food, the rest for stuff at home. I buy mostly bread, vegetables and fruits for myself; but my son has a different diet and he eats a lot of meat and poultry. If we had the same diet, we could save a lot. We don't eat out much, never have time and it's too expensive anyways.

I mostly spend around 300 or 400 a month on food. But there are 4 people living in the house and vegetables and fruits are really fresh and cheap in my country.
