If you were given the chance to do a research of your own, what would it be? on what subject and purpose?

I like history, so I think history and some unsolved mysteries would be a good subject to research. To unravel the truth, to reveal if there ever was a consipracy on such things and the reason why it happened/occured. Like Amelia Earheart's case, like the Roswell conspiracy or those cases that are still unprobed and unresolved. I believe that people have the right to know the "real" genuine truth about all of these, to learn from it and if ever, avoid these things not to happen again..

I've been reading and watching documentaries, stories about it. It's really hard to prove or deny one, especially when government and national security are involved.
