cable Internet or Dsl...Help me decide please

Here is the thing...I was wondering if Dsl is just as fast as the lowest cable modem? I have cable...the lowest one...cheapest, LOL. Our phone company is offering our didgital cable, dsl and phone all in one (long distance, caller id, 3 way and all the other features included) for just $100. I pay 2 seperate bills....for cable and phone now. And I pay $125 for didgital cable and Cable internet. I get 2 movie channels though and get about 6 extra channels for each extra movie channel, plus I get stuff like On demand and music,and pay per view. Its really nice. I pay about $25 for my phone every month. So I am wondering what to get. LOL. I think that the didgital cable they are offering is dish network. Does anyone have this? Thanks

I use time warner also- Road runner- I love it- I had 2 friends switch from Frontier DSL to time warner- Check out their all in one package- But I know the frontier one is running a great deal right now- I would switch to save money- I thought you got the direct tv for free?? when you signed up and it was like $70 a month for all 3- Check it out- I can't get DSL frontier at my house- too far in the country- they told me!

I think I am going to call time warner tomarro and ask them if they have a phone service? If they do then I will switch too that. I dont like frontier much anyways and I talked to a few friends in town and they said not to do it, LOL. Thanks

Depends on what speed the DSL is. I think that Cable is usually faster and they offer different speeds than the DSL does. FYI Dish network is not digital cable, it is satelite (my parents have the service and it is better than it use to be, but goes out often).
The phone company here - AT&T/Bell South - offers DSL, Dish Network, and phone and the speed on the DSL is not that great, the service is not reliable. Plus they lure people in with a lower rate and then jump it up higher after 3 months.
Call your cable company, they may have a better deal waiting for you that you don't know about. We get Digital Cable (which has extra channels + on demand + music), the middle service speed for the Cable modem, plus phone (CID & CW incld) for $120 a month.

i have cable internet and phone it is a lot cheaper than dsl and my boyfriend will tell you the same thing. so check out cable in your area

Well you have to weigh all the features on each service to get the best deal. Now you can get your phone service through your cable so that might be the way to go and get it all in one but check everything out before making any commitments.

Well I think you need to sit down and work out what is best for you and also see what you are getting now and what you would be getting with the new Deal
Also Sweetie you need to look at how much you do on the Internet I do a lot on here so I have the faster Package on my Internet I could not cope with a slower one lol
So have a look at it and see what is best for you
