if you were to cook something for your loved ones, what would it be? why?

i have dishes which i only cook for special ocassions. usually i'll prepare my callos, lengua, and stuffed chicken or roast beef with all the sidings (baked potatoes, mixed veggies in butter)

Hey Rave700! :) I usually cook more than two different kinds of recipes when my Mom ask me cook for a certain family occasion. When they ask me to cook, there is one question I'd ask them, "What would you like me to cook?" And then I'd tell them than I am going to cook sonething that I hope that they'd like. :) Thanks heavens, there was never a preparation that has been put into waste. :). Well, it's maybe because I know them pretty well. :)
