Design a quilt

I have to design a quilt with at least 4 patches that reflects aspects of my cultural heritage and write a brief explanation about why I chose the various elements of my design and how each patch reflects my cultural heritage. I am trying to search for a site where I can see African textile designs and historic American patterns to see if i can include any of these designs in my quilt. By the way this is a school project.
