PLEASE Help me with my new Computer

Does anyone use the new Windows Vista? I am having a problem getting aim on my computer. When I down load it to my computer it says it was successfully downloaded, but unable to access buddy list due to blockers or something. I have changed settings and re downloaded to no avail. I can't find it anywhere on my computer either? Help me please. It is driving me crazy.

as far as i know there isnt a "vista compatable aim" as of yet. (to my knowlege) i think that aim 6.1 says windows xp and vista but its not really vista friendly. As you might have already noticed a lot of things are not vista friendly, I resently reformated my hard drive so I could switch back to XP. Good Luck with getting AIM onto your computer try contacting AOL tech suport they are usually pretty helpful in my experiences Ihave only had 1 time where aol tech support was unhelpful.

It may not be compaitiable with Vista. I can't look at people's profiles anymore on Yahoo messanger because I have Vista. Vista isn't that great in my opinion, not alot of things work with it and the improvments aren't that great or worth buying.
