If you are a thing, what will it be and why?

I think i can be a cellphone, i will help other people to communicat from every part of the globe. i will be a blanket or jacket to keep everybody warm or an airconditioner to keep others cool. Some say they want to be a couch, to make others very comfortable. so what thing are you?

Well, I want to be something fun that people get a good use out of, maybe like a pen or something.
