city life or rural living?

I had been a city girl and I enjoy living at the city. I was born and raised in a farm but at the moment, I cannot stay there longer than a week..I would miss the fast-paced city life. Maybe I could settle on the farm upon my retirement age =)

Because I tend to be kind of a private person, and can't stand people living on top of me anymore, I would have to say rural. Sure, living in or near a city (was always suburbanite before the recent place) has its benefits, with more things to do and being near civilization and all, rural also offers solitude and overall peace and quiet. If I had to pick a major con for rural though, it does get a bit freay when you're living alone or alone often lol.

yes, i agree that it's peaceful living in a rural area..but sometimes, peacefulness brings boredom =)

Haha, that's very true. For the time being, I think I've had enough excitement though. Though it does get boring sometimes...thank goodness for netflix and such doh.

Im a true blue city dweller! But im fond of visiting cold rural places for a day or two to freshen up. I like the city better because of im fond of going to malls and dining out. Sometimes when i want to feel nature and i don't have time to travel i just go to our front lawn, it has a touch of nature lots of trees and flowers giving a peace of mind and relaxation. I never see myself settling in rural places. =)

I live in a rural area, but it's not really farm area either. I live near larger citites and there are only a few farms near me. I used to think I would want to live on a farm, but I go past them and I smell fertilizer and I don't know if I really want that anymore.:P I don't really care for how busy citites are either, but I think it would be fun to visit. I guess I'm content in my own small litle neck of the woods.:)
