I am so sorry to hear about your infertility problem. I wish you all the best and hope that you are able to conceive with the assistance of your doctor's advice and possibly, you might want to meet with a fertility specialist that might be able to give you some pointers on how you might better your chances.

Yes, infertility is devastating. I suffered infertility for 9 years. I am also an R.N. so if you need some infertility tips based on experience and medical knowledge, I can post them for you.

Infertility has been the biggest challenge of our lives. We've been trying to conceive for 5 years, unsuccessful. We ended up, going the adoption route. And plan to many more times. Infertility is heart breaking, as well as nerve wracking. But, don't give up. There are so many underlieing causes that ben be infertility. The best thing to do, is get a fertility specialist, and they will go down the list, one thing at a time, to try and find the cause. Under a lot of cases, it's treatable. Hormone therapy is a great option, surgery might be necessary, and it goes on. Hang in there, and don't give up. We still faithfully try. Depending on how you have come to the "infertiliy" conclusion also matters. If it's just by lack of conception, and not through a dr, that makes a difference. Before going to a fertility specialist, they usually want to see at least 6 mos of cycle charts (ovulation, menses, etc), and to be deemed infertile- you must have been trying to conceive for at least a year. I have found many assuring resources on www.babycenter.com. its women, all trying to conceive, they talk about everything from emotions behind it to their medical procedure breakdown. They've helped me through a lot.

Infertility is sad, but it's not the end of the world. There are thousands of little children out there needing loving homes.

Infertility is one of the worst things you will ever face. I went through it for 3 years and had to go to a fertility specialist. Hope that every thing works out for you.. I finally got my miracle in January. So dreams do come true
