Borrowing money from friends

Do you lend your friends money or borrow money from others? I don't lend money because it can cause so much issues, if anything, I would just give it to them. But I was shopping and talking to my cousin on the phone and was telling her about a cute bag. She said "oh buy it for me and I'll pay you back later" and I did. And she was yet to pay me back. It's just so awkward to have to ask for it AGAIN. Do you lend or borrow? How much time goes by before you ask for your money again or before you give them the borrowed money?

Well i never lend money and barely give any since people ar snakes when it comes to many since they act so nice and pretend to be so promising in terms of paying back then when you start asking your money back, then they will give you tonnes of crap

Yeah...there are those who pay you back right away, but then you have those that act like they owe you nothing the next time you see them. *sigh* I don't really understand how some can be that way, knowing the trouble the other person went through just to help them out.

I do not like borrowing money from friends. Usually when I need something, I only buy what I need. There have been times when my friends offered to give me something, but I said I could not afford it. If someone needs something, I will give it to her or tell her to wait until she can afford it, as it might be on sale then. Usually that is the case. I think if you do not get any money the next pay day, then you can ask.

I'm the same way, I haven't lent anyone (besides maybe my parents and my brother) money since I was in high school and lost a lot of money. I've always been mindful not to lend anyone money after that, but it's like I didn't even realize I was in essence doing the same thing by buying something for someone else. Telling them to wait for later because it might be on sale is a pretty good idea, haha! I think I'll try it next time :)

Hello Melody, I don't like to borrow unless it is an emergency case and I don't prefer to lend money to others too. I am a person who can't even open my mouth to ask for my money back. I don't even know when is the right time to ask for money after you lent it to someone. So, to be safe, I would rather not lending money to anyone else. If I know someone is in need, I prefer to give something like food or anything else except money!
