I know I flush my toilet each and every time I use it.. Though I have problems with my son doing it.. Sometimes when family members come over they don't either... It's so nasty to walk in the bathroom and see that.. I mean is it really hard to push down a handle? Do you make sure your toilet is Flushed when your done using it regardless of what time it is?

Everyone flushes our toilet..I just don't let my grandsons flush it..One time the 5 yr. old flushed and it overflowed..It made marks on my ceiling above my dining room..For some reason I have to plunge every so often..I stand there and make sure it goes down before I leave..When my son's friends are over he tells them to beware...Not only does it look nasty, it smells nasty...I don't mind if they don't flush when they pee during the day but first thing in the morning it has to be flushed.

humm something is jamming your toilet maybe to much toilet paper which is possible.. It's always been a rule for us that we flush it no matter what time even like at 3 am.. I was actually talking to my husband today about this or I should say yesterday, I told him I don't like flushing in the middle of the night because I don't want to wake anyone up.. He says just make sure the door is shut when you flush and it won't.. Some toilets do get loud though..

I am not sure what it is..The ones at some stores will cause you to go deaf..I think I may have the plumber come out and look at it..I shouldn't have to plunge so often.

well in australia we have water restrictions can u believe it the biggest island in the world surrounded by sea and we have water problems. well we have a rule in the house as most aussie households do "unless is brown don't flush it down" some parts of australia are on really high restrictions that they can only shower for 4 minutes so its not so bad where i am, but we all try to do our part

Really I never knew that and thinking with all the water it would be ok to flush no matter what.. 4 minutes in the shower though that won't cut it for me that's for sure I love showers and I want to make sure I'm clean.. But what does one do right! Thanks for your reply!

Unless it’s a number 2, we don't flush every time. To me it's a waste of water. Now we don't let the water turn orange and stinky mind you, but about 3 or 4 uses before we flush works just fine. I can't stand to waste anything, water, electricity, you name it. And at night we don't flush until morning.

We always flush the toilet, no matter what time it is, or who just used it. When I was growing up we lived in the country and had a holding tank. We were only allowed to flush the toilet if we did more than pee. My parents wanted to save as much money as possible by not having to get the tank pumped as often. :o) btw, I grew up in Superior, WI. Where do you live?

Well I can understand that part, you don't want to get it pumped every day if you don't have too or weekly in that matter.. I do live around the Superior area.. I don't want to sound rude or anything but I have never given out my location online not that you would do anything but for my own safety..

Perfectly understandable. I was just wondering the general area, since I grew up there. Most people I meet online are from the middle to souther Wisconsin. I live in Southern Colorado now. Wisconsin is much, much prettier!!! How has your summer been? I was there last summer and it was HOTTTT!! It's hot in Colorado too, but we have a/c, my parents don't, lol.

I alway flush. When I was growing up my mother and grandmother didnt flush everytime I dont know why but it used to embarass me when friends would come over. I never ask but I think they were conserving water or something. Who knows? It made me mad one day I went to work and someone didnt flush. I thought to myself who is that inconciderated we are all adults here. I understand if you have kids but come on.My husband forgets sometimes and i yell at him everytime.

I always flush no matter what time it is or where I am. If I used a public bathroom I wouldn't want to go into a stall where someone didn't flush, so I doubt many other people would want to either. So I try to treat other people like I want to be treated. So every time I use the public restroom I make sure that I flushed the toilet before I leave. At home a couple times I forgot to flush, but I went back to flush before someone else had to see it and flush for me.
