Hello okwusman1!! there are lots of Filipinos here on my lot, and as you may have noticed, we can write in English. It our 2nd language. Most people know how to speak in basic english. We have a national language called "Filipino" based on Tagalog, and several languages including Spanish. About the food we eat, rice is our staple food. We eat it breakfast, lunch and dinner, with viands. Pork meat seafoods and vegetables cooked chinese or spanish style are mostly what we eat with rice. Likes and dislikes? filipinos are fun loving, and are not afraid to make fun of ourselves. Generally we love singing, boxing, show biz, food and our neighbors. The main religion here is catholic, and most are devout followers. In a nutshell, the Philippines is a collection of different cultures - chinese, spanish, american and asian. They may have colonized us, but we have taken the best from them. If you want to know more, check this website out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_of_the_Philippines http://www.livinginthephilippines.com http://www.tourism.gov.ph/ cheers!
