Pondering about college life.....

It's been 2 months now since my first year of college and I am glad to say that it has been good sailing most of the way. I managed to make lots of new friends but sometimes I feel like some of them are "users" and only start being nice to you when they need something. These people really piss me off. Sometimes I just feel like telling them "Get a life you mother f$%#er!!! I wonder how many other people feel like this as well?

Well, college seems eons ago, but even then I remember many things about it. I studied in one of the most prestigious colleges of my country, I would actually call it elitist. Initially, I found the students very snobbish as they thought they were the cats' whiskers having obtained admission in the college. Everything was measured, from the conversations to the smiles. It was affected behaviour. I used to feel suffocated in that environment. But eventually, I came to terms with it and found my own set of friends. I don't remember college being too exciting but college life, yes. Going to a university, the u-special buses, the new found independence, good-looking professors, excellent libraries, variety of students, college festivals, et al. But yes, it was a period in life I do feel nostalgic about.
