people around me tell me that as a girl, never say "love" first , no matter how much you love a man. they hold the belife that men will not cherish you if you say "love " first or accept him too early because things that easy to get are not so valuable according to human beings natural feeling. what is your opinion?

i really dont think it matters who says i love you first, because if you both have the same feelings towards one another it really shouldnt matter.when i first started dating my husband i had such strong feelings for him,and i knew from word of mouth how he felt towards me,but i didnt want to say those words yet.until one day we were at the beach and having a great time, and we just started to stare in each others eyes and the wierdiest thing happened we both said i love you at the same time.it was such a magical moment.this was a first time i ever experienced that.so from that moment i knew how much we both loved one another.we have been married now for almost 4 years and have a 36 month old and 25 month old twins.its a beautigul thing.

Hmmm... I've known a lot of girlfriends who said "i love you" first, and their relationship was going strong till now. I've also known men who actually courted the girl and professed his love to the girl first, but are now in stormy waters. So I think, there's really no clear cut answer as to who should say "i love you" first. It's how the couple nurture the relationship afterwards that matters.
