Is there a restaurant that leaves you feeling nostalgic?

When I was a kid there were a couple of places that my family went regularly. Anytime I see those restaurants or eat at them it leaves me feeling nostalgic. One of them was Krystal Burger -- there aren't any around here, and I haven't been to one in over 10 years, but the memories are still there. Another one for me was a place called The Hungry Fisherman. It was in Tennessee. I have no idea if it's still there, it's been over 20 years since I've been to Tennessee and ate there, but every now and then I find myself thinking about it and missing it. It wasn't just about the food, the atmosphere was great.

there are several and they are in several places. The last or most recent one is in my previous city its name is "Panda Express". Its not a huge or very delicate one but its just mixed with our four valuable years aftr marriage. We went to that resturant amost thrice a week or sometime more. Chinese resturant, very reasonable price and they have a good luch or dinner with two entry and one fried rice or chowmen and only for $5 or so, the taste was so so good and we had our favourite item there orange chiken and kung pao chiken. Some other item was also very very nice. When we moved to this place we were really sad for missing that resturant, not so big one but so much memoris are there for us

Pizza Calzone - Best pizza form ever! it keeps all the good stuff in!
hello, Nice topic. Well there are lots of rests that I really miss, as they closed their chains where i live, Wendy's Burgers, Taco Bell, Borito Mexicana. Man they served GREAT FOOD! But there is this one rest I really miss. I used to go to it a lot during my childhood. It was called PIZZA HOUSE, it was the first Italian Rest before the PIZZA HUT invasion. It served the best kinda pizza EVER, as it was all house made. Pizza Calzone was their specialty. U know, it's just a regular pizza with lots of meat, cheese and eggs, but it was just colsed, folded in half in the middle!Things are a lot different now. God I wish that place never colsed. MA'AM you made my stomach growl!!:D
