please clear this up for me.... i dont get it... interview confused me.....help!

ok i applyed about 6 weeks ago and had an interview 4 weeks ago. they called me last week to come in for a second interview today so i went, BUT it wasnt an interview he came out and told me that they had a position available and tryed to contact me for 2 weeks and coudnt get a hold of me so they filled it. and didnt have anything else. I know they didnt call cause i have caller id, plus i spoke to him several times and he said he was waiting on job bids---and why didnt they tell me on the phone or not at all? what is the deal?

I would say it is bad communication on their behalf... He probably told the secretary to phone but didn't or only tried once but didn't continue to try, or even called the wrong person... Crossed comunication along the way. I see your point then, why call at all???? Stupid.... I would be glad I'm not working for them.......... You would think they would have you written down in their diary that you would be coming in and if you were not needed than why not call to say.......

And see i waisted gas, time, and babysitter fees when they could of told me on the phone that the positions were filled when i called. makes me so mad!!!!!

Hello Ralpek,
So sorry to hear this interview experience here. Per what you mentioned above, it should be totally the interviewer's fault here.
Pls understand that it is really not that easy to find a suitable job, and it takes sometimes pretty long to find a good enough one. But sometimes, when the opportunity comes, one should also be prepared so that they could go get it...
Anyway, good luck to you , & hope you could get a satisfied jon in no time. And I suppose you already got one in the last 3 weeks?:)

I don't have much to say but I know how hard job hunting is. I think that they should of called you not called you in to tell you you didn't get the job or maybe not called you at all. Good Luck!
