I've read and came across that these 2 products actually increase your metabolism thus reducing your weight. Also for green tea it detoxs and prevents cancer. However I have some stubborn fats around my waist and I've been trying very hard to lose them to no avail. Any one has any better idea?

Coffee may help some people lose weight as it may boost the number of calories you burn per hour by almost 4%. So far, it is the only thing they say about losing weight. As for my other researches, losing weight is not one of the top benefits from coffee. Therefore, coffee is not a very good option for losing weight. However, studies also show that if caffeine is taken in with green tea extract, more calories are burned in the body. Green tea, on the other hand, is really a healthy alternative. It does help the body burn more calories and gives a lot of health benefits as well. If you are trying to lose weight, green tea is a really good option. The excess fat around the waist can hardly be removed by drinking these beverages. The only thing that could successfully eradicate that would be exercise. No other way. Have a great time working out!
