I have a 16 year pld sister , you can't become a cop around her.You have to give them trust , teach them to be responsible, show them love so they don't go looking for it somewhere else.be there for her at all times when she needs you but don't be nosy in her space, give her freedom with limits. It's a complicated age but you'll be fine , your concern shows love and that is your first step to safety.

First tell me from which country u are . Anyway for a sixteen year old girl she should know what is right. But u should keep an eye on her. Show more love and affection towards her.Tell her what u expect from her

Yes indeed! Big Brother carries with him great responsibilities. Children grow up fast, before you know it they are their own persons. We contribute to this change. A great deal. I understand your concern. We can teach and preach through our very actions. Children will only follow what they see, it is only in time that they develop their decision-making skills that they begin to choose the better direction or choices. We give them advice but make sure we practice it ourselves. Leniency may not be always a good way, try to balance...listen first before before making reactions. Be openminded and not be judgmental, understand that people are acting in certain ways because it is coming from somewhere. Understand that. Good luck!

its not that u hav great responsibilities.. it depends.. if ur father's there.. its through him.. or its directly u.. be there for her.. dont try to mould her according to your interests.. get to know her.. and whats with the age dude.. its no big deal.. listen to her.. understand the difference between discussion and argument..
