Anyone ever TAKE food off of your plate when you're NOT finished eating yet?

Do you know these people that just reach over and grab something from your plate when you're still eating? Is this as offensive to anyone else as it is to me? In realizing that I'm an extremely clean person but...is there anyone else this has happened to and do you find it kind of gross like I do? And I mean anybody - I don't like anybody that puts their hands in my food while I'm still eating- they can get 2nds or 3rds when there is plenty and STILL they do it. What's your take on this?

I just hate that!Well, one time i started dating this guy a real nice looker for about 3 weeks. We went to a restaurant to eat a nice meal.I will never forget this,i ordered a nice bbq chicken plate with rice, etc. Its like he just swallowed his in,i wasnt even done mine when he took a spoonful of my rice, well i said to myself "o.k. ill let it pass" then here comes the fork snagging some of my chicken.Well,im not a dog gaurding my meal but that was the last straw nice or goodlooking doesnt matter, nobody starts picking on my plate.We-(I) decided not to see each other after that.Im like you when im done,go ahead, before that watch for the fork coming at your hand!Ha,Ha.

My mother is like the worst person in the world for this. Well, her and my brother actually, they would like fight over food in public in restaurants. It's pretty crazy. I will stab with forks if necessary to defend my food, so they learned their lesson about doing it to me. =p My husband and I do eat off each other's plates and such, but if he said it bothered him I wouldn't do it anymore.

Well, who does this?. I think this is extremely rude and I can see why you are upset. If these are family members you can freely explain to them that you really don't like this. If these are your children just tell them not to do it any more that it is totally bad manners.

Heck no! And they better not either unless the want a fork in their hand! lol My God son did that when he was a young boy until I taught him not to do that for it's not nice. He hasn't done it since then in which I'm very proud of him. He is such a sweet loving young man.
