It is nothing to drive down the street and see people driving and talking on their cell phones. What is your opinion on this issue? In some states it is legal and in some states it is not. What do you think?

I find this really annoying, because its too dangerous.Last year we got rear ended by the man behind us.The lights changed red and we stopped, but the guy behind us i guess was blah, blahing on his phone,he didnt see us and capow!,right in the butt!!My boyfriends truck has a phone built in it,so all he has to do is tell the computer what to do,call,on/off.Voice command is great. No hands needed and eyes on the road. Here its not illegal but i wish it was.

OMG this is one of my pet hates, here in Melbourne it is illegal to do this but people are still doing it, when I am driving behind someone when they are doing this I get so angry, I have even seen people turning corners while talking on their mobile, now with power steering this is so dangerous but even breaking the law does not stop them, unfortunately not enough of them are actually getting caught.

It is rather dangerous. I do not see how anybody can concentrate on the road and talk at the same time, not to mention holding the steering wheel in one hand, and the phone in the other. Even with the hands free, it is not that safe. If the other person says something exciting, the person in the car could run into a tree or worse. It should be made illegal. They can always pull over to the shoulder or wait until they get off the highway.

I absolutely hate seeing this. I've seen more people driving erratically, cutting people off, and nearly causing accidents all because they are not paying attention while they're on their cell phones. It should be illegal everywhere, in my opinion.

I think it depends on the person who is driving and talking. Some people get so engrossed in their conversation, they then cannot pay attention to what they're doing on the road. I have a bluetooth hands-free set, so when I talk on the phone I have 2 hands free. It's no different than talking to another person in the car. :o)

i dislike the people who drives slowly in his car while making a phone call,it is very dengerous and he would stop the moving car whicn is following him.the best way when someone talking on their phone while driving is stop the car beside the road.i think it is need to legal people can't make a phone call while driving on the road.
