How old were your parents when they had their first child?

I'm trying to know the average age when people had their first child. My dad was 40 and my mom was 21. How about you?

My mom was 28 when I was born and my dad was 30. I was my mom's first live birth--she miscarried once when she was about 20, I think (before she met my dad).
And for reference--I was 23 when my oldest was born and my husband had just turned 24.

Yes I have 4 monsters, lol. I also had a baby when I was 24, 25 and just this year at 29.

Dad was 22 and Mum 17 but they were married in 1947, so that was quite normal for that era. In our case, my husband was 29 and I was 25 when our son was born. :)

My mom would have been 22 when she had my brother and 27 when she had me.

My dad was in the military and they traveled a lot. I think my mom didn't want to be changing 2 sets of diapers.

Mine is Abigail in English. There is a character in the Bible of this woman named Abigail who despite the hardships she was to face could maintain the noble life she was to take. Like a saying that the most beautiful flowers of all are ones that grow out of adversity =)

My mom was 24 and my dad was 39 when I was born but I am the youngest of 4. My mom was 20 and my dad 35 when they had my oldest sister there first child. I was 17 when I had my first child and his father was 24.

No actually Im not with his father anymore, I am with my youngest sons father. We have been together for six yrs and he is only a few months older than me.

when my parents had their first child my mother was 21 and my father was 19. she was with a younger man...what was she thinking? lol...you need to be with an older man in order for them to be somewhat more mature!
