landlord/roomate told me she doesn't want me to have guys spend the night. When my Hispanic new roomate told her she had a BF and he would be sleeping over 2-3 nights a week she told her it was okay. Is my landlord/roommate a racist (she is Hispanic also)

Sounds like she is. If she has one policy for people of her race and another for other people, that qualifies as racism in my book. Have you tried asking her about it? Perhaps she simply forgot her "old" policy, or maybe the rules have changed...so maybe all you have to do is ask her again....or assume that since your roommate can do it, you should be able to do the same and if she tells you later that there is a problem, you can maybe say that your roommate told you that you said it was ok for bfs to spend the night. Do it innocently and see what her reaction is...after all if you're both paying the same rent, you should have the same rights...! I say you should get some attention for this and let someone in authority compel her to do the right thing....although that might prove to be troublesome, because she can't be watched all the time and she may decide to "torture" you for ratting her out...but it's up to you. I suggest you start searching for alternative places to live just in case...! You know...to be on the safe side....in case no one is "man" enough to take her on and help you get justice!! But it really is unfair for her to treat you differently than your roommate. On a side note, I have to add: you shouldn't encourage your bf to spend too many nights at your place...or maybe any at all! Yeah I'm a prude! I know it's old-fashioned but that's just me and I had to say it!! Just in case you might actually listen!! lol
