If you really want to lower gas prices try improving your gas mileage. Changing your driving habits and maintain your vehicles properly will definately reduce the demand and therefore lower the prices. Just think if everyone could achieve an improvement of just one MPG how much that would back up the supply!

you are very right that if we all improve our driving habits then the cost of fuel consumed is surely to fall for us, but more importantly it would give us a cleaner enviournment as we would be burning less of fuel and as a resultant the reserves would run for a longer period of time as we find that the world does not has enough fuel for long and we would need to find alternative sources of energy.
