Do you think Phillip is trying to humiliate Shawn?

On today's episode (August 10), Shawn was talking with Belle about the clothes that Phillip had purchased for her. And, he was really upset, saying that Phillip was just trying to embarrass him and lure her back. Of course, she denied it, but I think we all know it's true. No way he's going to pass up a chance to rub his money in everyone's face. Of course maybe he really does love his ex-wife and care about her well-being. But, wouldn't it be ironic if he could get custody of his new baby and get his ex-wife back? Well, not good for Shawn certainly!

I dont think that Belle ans Phillip will be together anytime soon well at least I hope not but I also dont like the relationship that Shawn and Belle are in either, it isnt them. But then again they both have grown up and had alot of things happen to then since they were high school sweethearts. But if they both keep lieing and keeping secrets from one another then they certainly arent going to have a good relationship. But I do absolutly think that Phillip is trying to win Belle back I dont nessesarily think that it is to humiliate Shawn, but just to win her back.

As I watched more of that days episode I was thinking the same thing. He was more interested in finding the baby from the picture than talking about Shawn or Belle. So, I guess Belle is in his long range plans, but not always in his thoughts. Though maybe he thinks the baby would bring them back together? I wonder which direction they will take the baby story line.

Philip does love Belle,and probably always will!But,who lives in a mansion,with their ex and their previous and 'circles' all the stuff they'd like to have in a catalogue for everyone to see?I'm getting the impression that Philip and Belle are both playing games,they just don't realize it yet

Yes, I do. I think that he is doing it sneaky, making Belle believe it is all in good faith, but in the long run, he will want something in return. I do not want to see him with Belle. Is her parents college fund really paying for her schooling, or is that from him also?

Ding ding ding--- I think you hit the nail on the head- I think Phillip is a complete loser who hasn’t changed at all- He wants Belle back and Claire- I can’t believe that Belle does not see it- I wish she would just kick him to the curb- and live happily ever after with Shawn- Poor Shawn!
