why people are so cruel?

Hi dear! I have noticed that too. People tend to be attracted to outgoing and extrovert people especially those who are physically attractive. However, if people will see and be given the chance to know more about one person, then what is inside which is the character of the person will be the one which is more important to them. When I was younger, I am very shy and very quiet and I don't easily warm out to people so a few would only take the time to really talk to me but when I tend to open up, people tend to approach me. Then I am giving them a chance to know me better and I am giving myself the chance to know them better too. I guess, sometimes people mistook shyness and being quiet for being snobby.
