Should i quit smoking?

I have been smoking for last 10 years. I mean i smoke a packet on an average. I enjoy smoking.I ahd never really thought of quiting smoking. earlier i used to smoke whenever i had an urge. But recently i noticed that i smoke without any urge to smoke. I mean now i can smoke continuously, chain smoking, without enjoying smoking. Is this like a drug addiction. Am i getting addicted to smoking. I really do not want to quit smoking as i enjoy smoking. But now i seriously want to reduce the quantity. I think smoking 4 cigirattes in a day is fair enough. Or should i try to quit it permanently. So far it has not shown any adverse effect on my health as i exercise regularly. Do regular exercise compensate for loss caused by smoking?

u must stop smoking coz that's bad for ur healthy.......do yourbest to stop smoking righ now...u can drink water 8 times a day u can look for activities other....stop smoking!!!

I know that i should stopsmoking But how to control that smoking urge which is constantly dancing in your mind.

Just make yourself busy by doing other things. Like for example: sports,reading magazines or newspaper,eating candies like menthol candies,watching movies and other stuff that can make u busy. or just chew a chewing gum and try not to think about smoking or try to think other than that.

If you were to ask me I will advice you to quit it. There are lots of negative effects of smoking not just in you but also to those people around you. Maybe you will not experience the effect at this time but there will come a moment in your life that you can feel the effects of it. Besides it is a waste of money. You can use the money for some good things instead. Maybe you could also save the money so that you could use it for some time. I believe regular exercise gives a good effect to our body but it doesnt mean that if you do it while smoking will not give you a bad effect in the future. Hope this helps you. God bless always!
